How do I install Mercer?
Mercer is preparing for its first Shopify Theme Store submission. It has not yet been submitted or approved, and is not yet available to buy or install. If approved and listed, trials, purchases and installs will be available through Shopify. You can explore the setup documentation now.
Can I switch between presets after I've customized my store?
Theme settings → Style accents → Style changes color, shape and interface details, preserving your fonts, section layouts and content. Shopify’s theme-style selector can also update fonts and other presentation settings. Starting section layouts are supplied when a style is installed; neither selector swaps those layouts.
Does Mercer support Shopify Markets?
Yes. Three switcher patterns (header dropdown, full modal, footer-only) plus an optional first-visit country gate. Shopify manages localized URLs and hreflang tags.
What about B2B / wholesale?
Mercer reads Shopify B2B company/location data, quantity rules and tier prices. Payment-term labels and purchase-order notices need the documented company-location metafields. Buyer-specific controls appear for signed-in B2B customers.
Do I get future updates?
Once Mercer is listed and purchased through the Shopify Theme Store, published Mercer updates will be available at no additional charge through Shopify. Release dates and future features are not guaranteed. Review each updated draft before publishing; custom-code migration is outside standard support.
Refund policy?
Mercer is not yet available to buy or install. Shopify's policy treats Theme Store purchases as final sale and non-refundable, with a limited exception for eligible transfers between stores you own. We do not offer a separate money-back guarantee. Contact Mercer support for theme defects and Shopify Support for purchase or billing questions. Applicable statutory rights are unaffected.
Can I have different colors on different sections of my site?
Yes. Seventeen sections — the 6 signature heroes plus 11 reusable content sections — expose a Section color scheme setting with five named schemes (Default + Editorial dark + Warm neutral + Accent pop + Soft contrast). Each scheme groups foreground, background, accent and border colors. Check contrast after customizing a scheme. The default scheme follows the store's active palette, including any global colors you changed.
Does Mercer ship in languages other than English?
Yes — French, German, Italian, and Spanish starter locale packs are bundled. Review market-specific copy with a native speaker before publishing production traffic. All placeholder tokens and pluralization are key-complete with English.
